I'm not fucking unconcerned. The only weapons on this ship I have any control over are my own, my team's + gunnery. None of those are passed out without clearance. I can't take all the weapons off everyone else because I'll get a fucking riot + I don't want to leave them unable to defend themselves. + most of them will hide theirs somewhere so we don't get them anyway. The only way to guarantee he doesn't get hold of anything he can use is to fucking lock him up. Which isn't going to inspire any stability in him.
He is in medical. He never leaves the medbay, and his mood has not changed. They knew nothing of what to do with Jaye. Why should they know what to do with Roy?
