[He doesn't bother replying and merely shoves the comm into his pocket. He only briefly mentions to Nill what he's leaving for before setting off, his guns ever present in their holsters. To be honest he doesn't expect Tyke to be a woman. So getting there and seeing her being the lone figure in the room makes him immediately tense up. There has to be a mistake...but she's the only one. It's not like he can back out now either since the dogs with her notice him.
There's a couple that growl and a couple that merely stand at the ready in case anything happens - basically what Heine is used to really. He lets out an irritated sigh.]
[Even with observation skills trained into her for years, Taylor's dogs are always going to be quicker than her. It gives her an extended net of awareness, means she's very rarely snuck up on. Their reaction makes her frown slightly as she looks up, putting out a silent blanket command for quiet before she turns her attention to the guy.]
Yeah? [It's not necessarily something she's surprised to hear, with them only talking via text, but the fact it's the first thing he's made comment on puts her slightly on a defensive.] Got a problem with it?
[Heine doesn't say anything after she retorts back, but his body language remains stiff anyway because of her presence. He's pretty sure that he could take anything anyone threw at him, but that doesn't mean he lets his guard down. After a minute he speaks again.]
No. Didn't expect it that's all with a name like Tyke.
[She could tell him that he wouldn't have been able to tell if she'd used her real name, either, but that would mean mentioning she had a real name. With all the different kinds of names on the ship, most people just assumed Tyke was it for her. That was the way it was meant to be, even if sometimes it felt like she was forgetting Taylor. So she just shrugs, most of the defensiveness easing out of her as she stands, taking a few steps over to him.]
[Edgeworth's judgement and skills were good, and she needed them on the team, but his opinions on people tended to slant in ways Taylor didn't really understand, and didn't want to have to keep in mind when she looked at possible recruits.]

[She tilts her head to the side, indicating an area clear of equipment except for some mats on the floor and a few standing punching bags.]
[He casts a glance at them, his face remaining as passive as ever. Punching bags had never really been his thing - he never understood the need to hit things that were stationary because what threat is ever going to just stand there and take it?
[A tiny annoyed frown pinches her brow, though it's not aimed at him. More at the problem he's managed to hit right on the head in one question. She's been looking for some kind of training facility on board ever since the shooting range was discovered, but so far no luck, and the holodecks were useless when you couldn't actually impact the simulation. All she had were punching bags or people.]
[The snort she gives is something like a laugh, the accompanying look dry, tinged slightly incredulous. She wouldn't be head of security if she was worried about getting hurt. But being head did mean she had to keep herself at some kind of standard. It'd be beyond stupid if they had an actual incident and she was useless because she'd been injured from some random fight.]
Just an assessment. No winner. Save that shit for fight club.
[But she still starts moving towards the mats, waves him to follow her with one hand.]
