4TH WALL BREAKING: No thank you.
THREADJACKING: Go for it, as long as it doesn't interrupt anything important.
BACKTAGGING: Yes please!
TELEPATHY/MIND READING: She can't stop you, but she will react very negatively (and possibly aggressively) if she becomes aware of it.
LOCATION SENSING: Go for it.
SPECIAL/MAGICAL ITEMS: Go for it.
FIGHTING CAPABILITIES: Extensively trained in hand-to-hand and armed combat against a wide range of foes. Bourne-style supersoldier skills. Will employ her dogs as a weapon if necessary.
INJURY: Likely, she's been trained to ignore physical damage. Please discuss first!
WIN/TIE/LOSE: Open to her losing, but any fights will require discussion.
MEDICAL/PHYSICAL INFO: Healthy young human female, 5'11". Scars: large bite around left shoulder; four ten-inch long scratches across shoulderblades, gunshot & surgery scar left side of abdomen; otherwise notably lacking. Tattoos: below left clavicle, symbol used to prevent possession by Supernatural type demons; right outside arm (full), skulls & roses; right inside forearm, grim reaper; right side of neck, comedy & tragedy masks; left side of neck, mouse; right flank, stem of yellow orchids; ribcage under breasts, eagle with wings spread; outside of right hip and thigh, block script of Auden's If I Could Tell You; back, a forest of roses, peonies and poppies with a black wolf emerging from the centre; back of left calf, one dog skull & flowers. Allergic to strawberries.
PHYSICAL CONTACT: Taylor's unused to it unsolicited and will be tense unless she knows the person and what their motives are in doing it.
SEXUAL RELATIONS: Very used to casual sex, but sucks at flirting and tends to need to be approached more directly. Open to both sexes.
ROMANCE/RELATIONSHIPS: Totally possible! Taylor has a lot of emotional problems and any relationship would take development and would likely be quite rocky in places.
ANYTHING ELSE? Taylor is a caninapath, which means she can talk to and control canines. She has sixteen dogs with her, a chihuahua called Chubbs, a bull terrier called Windsor, an American pitbull terrier called AT-AT, two Doberman Pinschers called Nosferatu and Jabberwocky, a black Labrador called Colt, and ten Labrador-Doberman mixes.
Taylor's ability can extend to canine-related creatures such as shapeshifters and werewolves. I deal with these interactions on a case-by-case basis, talked out with each player individually, but beneath the cut is a list of previous interactions to potentially use as basis for future ones.DOGS, WOLVES and OTHER CANINES
As this is the basic form of Taylor's ability, I generally assume it will work in full on any normal animal canines - however, I will ask a player's prior permission before I have her do anything more serious in regards to another character's pet than simply speak to it.
SHAPESHIFTERS
Taylor has interacted with two shapeshifters on board the Tranquility - Jaye and Sirius. In both these cases her pathos worked in full on them while they were in a dog or canine form. However, as they still had human minds working underneath the shape itself, she quickly identified them as not being real dogs.
WEREWOLVES
Taylor has interacted with three werewolves on board the Tranquility - Mason Lockwood, Derek Hale and Josh Levison.
For Mason, her pathos only worked on him while he was shifted. While she was able to communicate normally, her ability to command was very weak on him, and required constant concentration and focus to hold in place.
For Derek Hale, her pathos works on him constantly, both communicating and commanding, making her essentially a telepath with him.
For Josh, her pathos only works on him while he's shifted. He is, however, easy to communicate with and command while a wolf, making him much more like a normal wolf for her to deal with than Mason was.
